About Reverse GC Angus
Reverse GC Angus is a family owned operation located in south eastern Alberta.
The Gill family has been actively involved in the agricultural sector for over 100 years. Our operation is composed of both conventional farm land and a cattle herd. The cattle herd has had a commercial focus for the majority of the time while first branching into the purebred sector the last 5 years.
The idea for Reverse GC Angus was fueled by a program at the Medicine Hat College called the Pitch Competition which gives students the wager their business idea to a panel of judges with the chance to win money. Chelsea pursued this opportunity and placed second which allowed her to purchase her first few purebreds. The entire family has now started working towards building the ideal herd.
The main focus for our cattle is an animal that is well suited for both the commercial and purebred industry. We have built a herd that has a strong focus around genetics that promote longevity, disposition, and animal structure. We understand that every operation has different requirements for their program and we are striving to produce animals to fit all of their needs. From low birth weight coupled with calving ease to high performance bulls; Reverse GC Angus has a bull to fit the bill!
